AmCham-China organizes an annual Washington, DC, Doorknock delegation of members who travel to the capitol to discuss the state of US business in China.  Meetings are held with elected representatives of the Senate and House of Representatives, or their staffs, as well as key officials in the president’s administration.

The Doorknock is typically scheduled following publication of AmCham-China’s annual American Business in China White Paper. While in DC, members discuss the policy recommendations in the White Paper while sharing their insights on the business environment and relations with the government in China.

US political leaders value AmCham-China’s perspective on the issues and appreciate the opportunity to hear directly from business leaders who are working in China and have firsthand experience in the dynamic Chinese market.

The annual Doorknock and White Paper are key components to AmCham-China’s ongoing government advocacy initiatives. AmCham-China helps its members succeed in China through advocacy, information and intelligence, networking opportunities and business support services. Particularly in challenging economic times, AmCham-China is a critical business resource.
