US Clean Energy Trade Mission to China and Indonesia
In May, US Commerce Secretary Gary Locke will lead the Administration’s first cabinet-level trade mission to China and Indonesia. The clean energy business development missions will promote exports of leading US technologies related to clean energy, energy efficiency, and electric energy storage, transmission, and distribution. The missions will take place May 15-25 and make stops in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Applications can be completed on-line at the Clean Energy Business Development Mission Web site (http://www.trade.gov/cleanenergymission) or can be obtained by contacting the US Department of Commerce Office of Business Liaison (202-482-1360). The application deadline is Friday, March 12, 2010.
In China, the mission will take place on May 15-21 and company participation is not dependent on participation in the Indonesia portion. Companies can contact Bryan Larson in the Commercial Section at the US Embassy in Beijing for more information at Bryan.Larson@mail.doc.gov or (86-10) 8531-3129.
