Chinese companies are going abroad in record numbers and the US is among the top destinations for their investments.  The US is “open for business” and state and local governments are eager to welcome new companies and investment.  The Destination: USA investment seminar and expo is an opportunity for service providers to meet and establish relationships with investment minded Chinese companies. The interactive full-day event will take place in Tianjin and features a luncheon with US Ambassador Jon Huntsman, Jr.

Destination: USA will host a two part program beginning with a morning seminar which will gather 100 motivated Chinese investors with significant interest in investing in the United States. These investors, invited by China Merchants Bank, have been identified as having serious interest in investing in the United States. This seminar will be an opportunity for American service providers to address this select audience in their respective fields of expertise. Each service provider will be allotted a speaking time to discuss their services and share a case study related to their experience advising new entrants into the US market.
 
The topics that are of interest to Chinese investors include:

- Legal issues to be considered in investing,
- Regulatory aspects of investing in the US,
- Financing,
- Labor relations and human resource management,
- Real estate options,
- Taxation issues,
- Sales and marketing.
 
The morning seminar will be followed by an afternoon expo for investors and service providers to speak face-to-face. US government officials will also join the expo to share critical information about the US investment process.

- Real Estate,
- Human resource management
