If you wondering whether you are required to file a US income tax return or whether you are qualified to take a “Foreign Earned Income Exclusion”? Then this informative session may be for you. Do you have unresolved tax problems with the IRS?  From March 4 – 5, the Internal Revenue Service will host a tax workshop for American taxpayers living in Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. In addition, a limited number of one-on-one appointments will be available.
Please note that the workshops are designed to help individuals with questions on preparing and filing tax returns, or other payment issues.  They are not intended or designed for professional income tax practitioners.

Please make a reservation for the tax workshop or one-on-one appointment by emailing FeigCA@state.gov   The deadline for making appointments is Wednesday, March 3, 2010.  In order to facilitate your coming into the Consulate without difficulty, we need to have your correct name and passport number when you make your reservation.

ACS working hours are from 1:30pm to 4:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday except for Chinese and American holidays (check http://shenyang.usembassy-china.org.cn/holidays.html ).
