White Paper delivery meetings continue to bring together AmCham China members with high-level leadership from Chinese businesses and government. On July 28, AmCham China President Mark Duval led a delegation of financial experts to meet with Zhang Zhengxin (pictured, right), Deputy Director General of International Affairs at the People’s Bank of China. During the meeting, the group – including AmCham China Vice Chairman Lester Ross and Financial Services Forum Chair Jianbo Li – had a broad conversation with Zhang on the issues raised in the White Paper.
The next day, Duval once again set out with a team of AmCham China representatives, this time to visit with banking industry officials including Haifan Zhang of Bank of America and Ye Yanfei, Deputy Director General of Prudential Regulation Bureau at the China Banking Regulatory Commission.
