On June 14, an AmCham China delegation, led by President Alan Beebe, met with the State Intellectual Property Office Deputy Commissioner He Zhimin to deliver the 2016 White Paper. The two sides broadly exchanged viewpoints on administrative and judicial protections, service invention remunerations, trademarks and revisions to the Patent Law. He also expressed a desire to meet more frequently with AmCham China members, noting that frequent and open communication will facilitate mutual understanding and improve the protection of intellectual property rights. The AmCham China delegation also included representatives from General Motors, Seagate and USITO.
