We are excited to have a growing number of alumni in China as well as a large number of Chinese graduate returnees from our Master’s program at the UConn School of Business each year.  UConn’s School of Business prepares our graduates for today’s business world and gives them the tools they need to succeed in ever changing markets. With their educational backgrounds combined with UConn’s rigorous, practical, and hands on learning experiences, our Chinese graduates develop a deeper understanding of the Chinese markets, business culture, and social factors that have truly differentiated them from their peers. Earning an advanced business degree at UConn is a unique experience that offers Chinese graduates numerous opportunities and possibilities at home and abroad.

“Real World, Real Learning, Real Impact”

We are a globally recognized provider of exceptional managerial and business leadership through innovative experiential learning in a dynamic global business context: integrating real world education, outstanding research and strategic outreach.

“Risk Management Degree: Unique Blend of Theory and Practice”

Our MS Financial Risk Management degree began in 2010 and is now ranked highest of all such U.S. degrees by The Financial Engineer (2016).  It provides a unique blend of theory and practice to make our graduates uniquely qualified in today’s business world. The program is STEM designated.

The MSFRM program emphasizes both rigorous theoretical and quantitative analysis, as well as practical and hands on experience addressing various real world risk management issues (i.e., regulatory, operational, financial, supply chain, reputational, economic, political, global, and enterprise risk management).

We leverage our domestic and international partnerships to enhance learning by providing company-sponsored group student projects that enrich student development. In addition to these projects, business executives who are risk management practitioners teach about a third of our classes, further instilling our academics with real-world examples and experience. This innovative approach allows our students to merge their experience and classroom knowledge in framing and solving current business problems.  Please visit our website for further program information:
