2018 marked the 10th anniversary of China’s first Food Safety Law, and AmCham China believes that Over the last several years, China has indeed made significant progress to ensure that its 1.4 billion citizens can have more confidence in the safety of what they eat and drink. Healthy China 2030 provides the overarching policy framework for China to attain the health standards of developed countries by 2030. In this Policy Spotlight, member companies from the AmCham China Food and Beverage Forum offer recommendations that we believe will contribute to the timely attainment of China’s food safety and quality goals and those of Healthy China 2030.
