On September 8, Min Qin, Vice Chair of AmCham China and Vice President for Public Affairs at Mars China, attended the 11th International Forum on Fair Competition Policy of China. She delivered remarks during the panel discussion titled “Enhancing the Efficiency of the Anti-Monopoly Review of Concentrations of Undertakings to Facilitate High-Quality Economic Development.”
Qin stated that as a vital bridge for economic and trade cooperation between the US and China, AmCham China has consistently worked to promote bilateral trade and economic exchanges, while supporting the sustainable development of its member companies in China. She emphasized that AmCham China has witnessed and actively participated in over four decades of China’s economic development, and has a direct and profound appreciation for the efforts and progress made by the Chinese government in fostering a more dynamic and fair market environment.
She went on to share two key expectations. First, she expressed hope for an even higher level of openness to create greater opportunities for foreign enterprises to participate in China’s domestic market. Second, she encouraged continued efforts to enhance the fairness, standardization, and transparency of market competition.
In closing, Qin expressed confidence that, through joint efforts, China will continue to build a more open, inclusive, and fair competitive environment—providing a high-quality development platform for enterprises around the world.
