AmCham China Joins 4th Annual China International Supply Chain Expo

The 4^th Annual China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) is currently underway from June 22 to 26 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. This year marks AmCham China’s fourth consecutive year participating in CISCE. Through booth exhibitions, site visits, and industry exchanges the Chamber is engaging with government agencies, member companies, and industry partners on supply chain cooperation and industrial innovation.

On the opening day of the expo, Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang visited the AmCham China booth.

That afternoon, AmCham China Chairman James Zimmerman attended the Anhui Provincial Thematic Promotion and Global Supply Chain Cooperation Symposium, where he met with CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbing, Anhui CCPIT Chairman Zheng Dongtao and other stakeholders on regional supply chain collaboration.

President Michael Hart delivered opening remarks at the Sichuan Digital & Smart Industry Chain International Cooperation Conference.

On the morning of June 23, AmCham China’s Agriculture Committee organized the second Agriculture & Food and Beverage Booth Tour. Member companies – including Cargill, McDonald’s, Syngenta, LDC, the US Grains Council, Starbucks, and Penfolds – toured exhibition booths to learn about best practices and the latest advancements in green agriculture, smart farming, and sustainable supply chain management.

On the same day, Hart attended the launch ceremony of the Guidelines for Regenerative Agriculture Practices and Metrics, hosted by the Agrifood Sustainability and Climate Action Cooperation Center.

Through four consecutive years at CISCE, AmCham China has built working relationships that extend well beyond the expo floor. The conversations begun here will continue throughout the year as the Chamber engages with partners, members, and stakeholders.
