On November 26, AmCham China, Tianjin members were invited on an exclusive visit to the PPG Global Coatings Innovation Institute. The visit provided an opportunity to explore the institute’s cutting-edge R&D achievements, design concepts, and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in the field of coatings.
We were honored to have Cathy Yan, General Manager of PPG Asia Pacific, lead our group. Yan shared insights into PPG’s history and the unique dynamics of the Chinese market. PPG has demonstrated a strong ability to anticipate and respond to market needs, leveraging an effective strategic approach to navigate China’s rapidly evolving business environment. The company’s investment in and commitment to China represent a significant component of its global strategy. The establishment of the Global Coatings Innovation Institute stands as a key milestone in PPG’s China journey.
