Landon Loomis, Boeing
Campaign Statement
As one of the largest U.S. exporters with more than five decades in China and a long-term Amcham China member, the Boeing Company is committed to advancing AmCham China’s goal of ensuring a level playing field for U.S. companies and facilitating a constructive bilateral relationship. Boeing’s global reach, deep expertise, and long-term commitment to the China market will all be assets as we work together to navigate a challenging environment. My previous roles in government also position me to serve as an effective leader of the organization. I was stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing 2008-2013, where I worked closely with AmCham China through the visit of President Bush, the Global Financial Crisis and the Chinese leadership transition to define and defend US business interests. Later, as a national security advisor to Vice President Mike Pence and at USTR, I continued worked on China trade issues and opportunities. If elected, I commit to helping build AmCham China’s outreach programs, inform its advocacy agenda, and shape messaging strategies to enhance the organization’s impact. I look forward to working more closely with all you to continue and grow the success of AmCham China, and the US-China business relationship.
