Job Title: Product Design Engineer
Location: Tianjin
Position Summary：
The Research & Development Engineer I is responsible for contributing to research efforts to improve or generate new products, equipment, systems and processes. In this role, they are responsible for; routine analysis, investigatory work, preparing simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities：
- Responsible for the completion of studies or project-specific developments.
- Defining with the stages of the studies to be performed with input from the manager.
- Conduct routine analysis, experimental, and investigatory work according to an established research plan.
- The definition of the technical solutions with prototypes or appropriate calculations.
- Record results and prepare simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations.
- The validation of the solutions adopted in agreement with the project team.
- Validation of compliance with the regulations in force.
- Ability to demonstrate the value of new products as compared to the competitors’ products.
- Active participant in continuous improvement processes in the business.
- Develop research skills and knowledge of the organization’s products and services by working closely with a more experienced researcher or as the junior member of a research team
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements：
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relative major.
- 1 + years’ experience in, technical support, or manufacturing role in industrial business setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic theory, pump performance/curves and basic pump selection.
- Good English skill both in reading and writing, good English on oral is preferred.
- Understanding of pump technology.
