We are looking for an outstanding Secondary IB HL Maths Teacher to join our school beginning August 2026.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver math programme tailored to individual and group student needs, in line with the YCIS International Curriculum, IGCSE, and IB Diploma.
- Develop/refine math curriculum documentation and assessment tasks in line with the YCIS International Curriculum, IGCSE and IB Diploma as appropriate.
- Prepare teaching aids and resources thoroughly, employ diverse teaching strategies to engage students, and ensure the achievement of their learning objectives.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with parents/guardians, providing timely feedback on student progress and performance.
- Design student assignments and provide constructive feedback; employ effective assessment methods to evaluate student learning outcomes; consistently maintain a patient, meticulous, and friendly attitude during instruction.
- Actively engage in collaborative teaching and cooperation with both Chinese and international colleagues, including within the same subject area and across disciplines.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development by objectively reflecting on teaching practices to drive self-improvement and growth.
- Serve as a positive role model for students through both classroom teaching and participation in extracurricular activities.
- Attend all types of meetings convened by the Academic Supervisor or School Principal punctually.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience; Experience teaching both A-Level, IGCSE, and IBDP Higher Level courses is highly preferred.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, supplemented by a teaching qualification/certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or national/state teaching license).
