On November 28, AmCham China, Tianjin hosted its 2025 Annual General Meeting and Thanksgiving Party at the Conrad Tianjin. The event brought together 260 members of the Tianjin community to reflect on a year of achievements, plan for 2026, and celebrate with a Thanksgiving feast,
During the Annual General Meeting, Tianjin Chair Marcus Williams thanked members, sponsors, and partners for their continued support. AmCham China President, and former Tianjin resident, Michael Hart opened the evening by expressing his appreciation for the Tianjin community and the Tianjin Municipal Government, remarking that “returning to Tianjin always feels like coming home.” Luan Jianzhang, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, also delivered remarks, noting that the accomplishments of AmCham China, Tianjin demonstrate the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation between both countries.
Black Friday Market
This year’s annual Black Friday Market offered members an early start to holiday shopping with gifts, artisan products, and games contributed by participating member companies.
Thanksgiving Parade
The Thanksgiving Day Parade, led by the AmCham China team, featured member company representatives showcasing their spirit through custom mini floats and coordinated uniforms. Benchmark Group received the award for Best Parade Team for its outstanding creativity. Members also enjoyed a holiday-themed quiz.
The evening ended with swing dancing, drinks and a lucky draw. Thank you to all our sponsors for making this event possible.
