Top 10 Chinese Mainland Export Destinations (2001–2023)
The video above shows the top destinations for Chinese Mainland exports since 2001. The US has topped the list for most of that time, although Hong Kong had a brief stint at the top in 2013. Japan has maintained the third spot throughout, with South Korea in fourth. Vietnam has made steady progress up the ranks since entering the top 10 in 2013, briefly occupying the fourth spot in 2020.Top 10 US Export Destinations (2001–2024)
The second video shows the top destinations for US exports since 2001. Similar to Chinese exports, the top two destinations for US exports have remained the same for two decades, neighboring Canada and Mexico in first and second place. China has held the third spot since 2007, although it remains some distance behind the top two.This is the latest in a series of data visualizations produced by AmCham China.
