Dear AmCham Voters,
For the past 22 years I’ve been dedicated to helping large, multinational companies grow and thrive in China. I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact of economic collaboration between our nations and gained a deep appreciation for AmCham China’s crucial role in fostering a constructive U.S.-China economic relationship.
Today, that relationship is at a critical juncture. Leaders of American businesses in China must unite to ensure that the enduring benefits of free trade continue now, and for decades to come.
Boeing has been privileged to serve in the development of China’s air transportation system for more than 50 years. This support has been – and continues to be – centered on the belief that commercial aviation can fuel broader global economic and societal development.
It’s a belief we share with AmCham China. A great example of this can be seen in our extensive partnership through the US-China Aviation Cooperation Program, which is focused on enhancing aviation safety and efficiency, forging closer ties between U.S. and Chinese regulators and inspiring China’s next generation of commercial aviation pioneers. As co-chair of this program, I’m committed to ensuring it has all the resources needed to succeed.
I’m also committed to supporting AmCham’s objectives, because they align with my own. Now, more than ever, we must unify our voices, strategize for the future, and seek mutually beneficial opportunities.
I assure you that I will spare no effort in promoting our collective interests, and I would be deeply honored to receive your support, and your vote, in the 2023 election for the AmCham China Board of Governors.
