Campaign Statement

Dear fellow AmCham members, I am running for AmCham’s 2019 Board of Governors and would be very honored to receive your vote of support.

For the last five years, my family and I have been blessed with the amazing opportunity to live, work, and study in China and travel extensively throughout Asia. This has been a period of great personal and professional growth, and we enjoy giving back.

At Intel, I am a constant bi-directional bridge across the Pacific, very active in mentoring up-and-coming Intel and Intel China leaders, and an advocate for mutual understanding across our cultures. Having run a sales team and now corporate strategy for Intel China, I have seen and experienced first-hand the amazing win-win partnerships which can be forged between the US and Chinese ecosystems when we collaborate. I am a Board member on a Chinese technology company, volunteer mentor at both Tsinghua University’s x-labs incubator and the Chinaccelerator in Shanghai, and an active tech startup investor and advisor. I am bringing these experiences to benefit AmCham in shaping and driving the new and exciting Technology and Innovation Initiative to improve the intersection of technology and business for our membership; and eagerly look to continue helping in this domain.

If elected, I will bring this passion for technology, innovation, and growing pan-Pacific relationships to AmCham’s already robust agenda. Intel is honored to have over 32 years of history working in and with China, and as a long-term sustaining member of AmCham we are actively engaged across AmCham’s many wonderful activities. With your vote, I look forward to continuing and extending this relationship by bringing this rich history of successful partnerships to the benefit of all members and our Chinese partners.

Thank you in advance for your vote of confidence.
