Campaign Statement

I’m passionate about AmCham China and the critical role the Chamber plays in representing American business in China. Our Chamber has a strong, respected and effective voice in promoting positive US-China Trade relations and that role and voice must grow in the days to come.

With your vote I hope to work with the AmCham staff, board and other voluntary leaders to ensure that we continue to support the success of small, medium and large American businesses in China, promote strong, positive US-China trade relations and gracefully navigate the challenges ahead.


Biography

Mark Duval is the President of Terex Greater China where he is responsible for managing P&L, joint ventures, manufacturing operations, R&D and global sourcing for the Fortune 500 Company in Greater China. Terex China includes a range of Terex businesses including Genie Ariel Work Platforms, Mobile Material Processing, and Terex Cranes and Utilities.

Prior to joining Terex, Mark was President of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China.

An American citizen, Mark grew up in Zimbabwe and South Africa before moving to the United States in 1990. He has been based in China since 1996, where for over 16 years he led in a variety of leadership roles Motorola China corporate strategy, operations, business development, public policy and government relations, communications and public affairs, crisis management, and go-to-market operations.

Mark has a BSc. from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
