On Tuesday, Jan. 19, representatives from AmCham China met with Wang Xu, Deputy Director General of MOFCOM's Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs, to discuss the findings of AmCham China's 2016 Business Climate Survey. The meeting represented a continuation of the open conversations and the positive relationship that AmCham China has with MOFCOM. Wang expressed great interest in the data and MOFCOM will be preparing their own report on our findings to share with others within the central government.
At the table representing AmCham China were Ian Curtiss, Senior Manager for Policy Initiatives, Helen Ye, Vice President of Government Affairs, William Zarit, Vice Chairman of AmCham China, James Zimmerman, Chairman of AmCham China, Catherine Beck, Senior Policy Analyst and Wang Sijie, Government Affairs Coordinator.
