"With the upcoming leadership changes in Washington, AmCham China's role has never been more relevant. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to represent the vibrant American business community and contribute to the success of the U.S.-China commercial relationship." Said William Zarit, the President Elect.

The Committee of the Year Award went to the Cosmetics and Nutrition Forum. The China Pioneer Award was presented to Jim Gradoville, former Chairman of AmCham China, and David Wang, former Vice Chair of the Chamber.  Both of them have been involved in the chamber for a long time, contributed to the founding of several working groups and cooperation programs, and have done amazing work for the chamber and the American business community in China.

To show appreciation to those who have demonstrated the spirit of voluntarism to the chamber, this year the chamber presented its first Service Award. The winner was Kenneth Zhou of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP Beijing, who serves as the chamber's Legal Counsel. He has put in hundreds of hours of his time and voluntarily provided legal support to the chamber in a broad range of areas.

Lee Zak, the special keynote speaker this year, highlighted the benefits of public-private partnerships, epitomized by the aviation, energy, healthcare and agriculture/food cooperation programs operating under the AmCham China umbrella in her speech.

AmCham China would like to thank the event’s sponsors: Sheppard Mullin, Henry Global, Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, United Technologies Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd., ConocoPhillips China, JLL, and United Airlines.
