As reported in the 2016 Business Climate Survey, Industrial and Resources member companies view the Chinese market as being less favorable than before, while service-based companies are very optimistic on the future opportunities the market presents in China. Using previous Business Climate Survey reports’ data, these reports show the long-term trends on investment, profitability, business challenges and opportunities, and how some industries are more optimistic than others over a five-year period.

This is the 18th year that AmCham China has conducted the Business Climate Survey, which this year elicited 496 responses. The data used in the Industry-specific reports was collected and analyzed from the overall 2016 Business Climate Survey report.

The reports are available to AmCham China members for free, and at a charge of RMB400 to non-members. Visit the AmCham China website for the full list of reports and questions they cover.

The cross-industry report is also available online.
