Schwarzman Scholars is a prestigious graduate fellowship program that draws talented young leaders from around the world to engage with China. This landmark event marked the first time AmCham China was invited to visit the program, offering members a unique opportunity to learn about its developments, interact with the college’s leadership, and meet current students. The day began with a guided tour of Schwarzman College led by Doug Hughes, Director of College Event Programming, who shared an in-depth introduction to the institution. The tour was followed by presentations from Chad Futrell, Assistant Dean at Schwarzman College, and Dr. Lu Zheng, Associate Professor of Sociology, who provided comprehensive insights into the program. A dynamic Q&A session enabled participants to delve deeper into key aspects of the initiative. The event concluded with a mixer, providing attendees with opportunities to network with faculty and students.
