On Saturday, June 3, AmCham China – Northeast Chapter held its annual Summer Music Festival. This tremendous event attracted a diverse crowd with over 1,000 attendees, including Dalian locals, members of the expatriate community, AmCham China members from Shenyang, and local government officials.
Perfect weather shined down on the all-day event. Taking place at the Dalian American International School, the festival provided attendees with great food, live music, and an enjoyable time. The Northeast Chapter Executive Committee worked hard with 40 vendors to ensure that the food was both tasty and well-priced. The food was provided from Dalian favorites: Au Petit Plaisir, Obsidian, Utoo bar, Unome, Devolution Brewing, The Roof, Coca Cola, Kempinski, New World, Shangri-La Hotel, The Nest, Carrefour, Leon Kitchen, 777 Loft, Auer Beers, Sunny’s Import Store, and Tommy Wines and In Lounge. Apart from the food, this family-friendly event also included activities for children to enjoy, including a bounce house, face painting, and henna tattoos. Finally, the entire event came to life with several local bands playing music throughout the all-day event.
