About This Committee
The Business Sustainability Committee (BSC) includes members from more than 100 companies in various industries interested in sustainability issues. The Committee supports members to exchange insights, best practices, and promote collaboration in environmental and sustainability
matters. The Committee organizes events and engagements with the wider business community through various formats including seminars, conferences, and receptions.
Mission
- To share and exchange topics related to business sustainability operations, such as carbon emission management, circular economy, energy transition, green finance, circular economy and ESG among other issues.
- To improve the policy environment on promoting multinational companies to optimize their sustainable practices in China.
Main Activities
Following Chinese and global policy and regulatory agenda in terms of sustainability.
In-depth knowledge sharing on specific topics by industry experts or scholars on cutting-edge issues.
Visit to external organizations, including agencies, think tanks, and companies specializing in the environment and sustainability areas.
Networking and exploring potential opportunities to support corporate impact initiatives.
